Motion along this PES valley might lead both to interchange dynamics and also to true
1 --> 1 tunneling dynamics. These later dynamics would not induce energy splittings, but
would create perturbations of energy levels.
These dynamics can be analyzed also as generated by first order pertubation along
the two monomer umbrella degrees of freedom.
